Christmas Tablecloth Ideas

Le Jacquard Francais first created their Limited Edition Holidays tablecloth with the traditional red and green featuring Holiday ornaments.  This was a sell out fast fast fast. Then as each year brought a new pattern some featured Reindeer such as Laponie, Chamonix in holly, and Joyeuese ornaments again only in white and grey and then in 100% Linen (a big Huge favorite of F&B), now we are back to the ornamental settings ONLY with the Grey modern twist.  Again, Scintillement is limited edition. Orders are not going to be fulfilled all the time.  I know, we have said this before and then it is in stock again.  That is because we search high and low through the French shops to find it and get it to the USA.  USA is a biggest customer of French linens. F&B realized this and searches, even to the extent of getting a bit of trouble.  Please see the beautiful Jacquard tablecloth and napkins, I think to purchase now is best. Placemat- stain resistent and beautiful with lurux in silver shine. Holiday Table sSttings for December

Many times I have heard from my customers that they open the tablecloth and napkin set only to discover those stains that never were removed.  What to do? There are a few options? Try to remove the stains with the Le Blanc Linen wash. Secret is to soak the linen where it is stained for 20 minutes just by pouring out some detergent and rubbing it in the fabric.  Then launder as usual, but do not put in the dryer as this would set any stain that remained. Repeat this process over and over until success. Read more

Thanksgiving Table linens for 2015

Traditional Thanksgiving Day feasts have always created a newness for the perfect end of the year. We are thankful for all the gifts we have in our lives. Also, reflecting on our young and old is a gift! This is done in many fashions as tradition is pretty much an individual decorating for the décor despite the meal of Turkey with dressing, potatoes and gravy, and cranberries, and all the harvest goodness. What is Thanksgiving without the Pumpkin pie, Apple pie, etc. We are just in our "Thanksgiving Day feast" mode and hope that the linens survived from last year. Hopefully, Linen wash was used to help get those foodies stains out. Read more

Coated Tablecloth vs Laminated Tablecloth

Coated tablecloth is just that - coated cotton- real 100% cotton that has a light acrylic surface. Tablecloth side on table is cotton side with the acrylic side facing up and taking all the spills.  When you receive your tablecloth the label may say 96% cotton and 4% acrylic, customs reasons is all but sounds right.  Coated tablecloths have become the 2nd largest selection for fine tablecloths.  Besides the 100% cotton jacquards, the coated tablecloth is considered vastly by many who like that extra quality stain free care. Le Jacquard Francais Table Linens

Le Jacquard Francais started a very long time ago as a premiere weaver for textiles, yes: but more over for a lifetime lasting trend in the textile markets.  As modern time is our immediate reality, I can honestly say that this is evident.  For a short time, I was worried that this was not going to be the trend going forward into the "Table Linen world" as a prime retail sourse for their products.  Luckily, I was mistaken.
